Accord dashboard light

i have an accord 94 and When i put the car into drive the light for the drive4 starts to flicker on and off and it will keep on doing this but nothing feels wrong, it will keep on flickering even when i switch to any other gears, can anyone helpme. i also need to know how bad this is

The blinking comes from the little squares around the letter of the gear it is in! It is the vehichle speed sensor AKA VSS. This is not bad at all but should eventually be changed. This problem tends to throw off your egr and computer so your car is burning more fuel and less air exception. Also due to that your tranny changes at different speeds than it used to and also a little sluggish! Overall you can drive this for another 20000 miles with the light on.
