Power chips, programmers, and such.radio24 03-24-2004, 03:10 PM Does anyone know of any power chips or computer tuning products for a 1996 Cavalier Z24? I can't seem to find any. perna00 03-24-2004, 03:27 PM about the only thing you will find for your your car computer wise will be a "JET" power control module (recalibrates your fuel/air mixture, $250). but, if you have enough $ you can get the entire computer reprogrammed and rerouted. studballs 03-24-2004, 04:39 PM the JET module is junk...don't waste your money! bigdaveangell 03-28-2004, 01:05 AM any car made after 1995 is OBD2. OBD2 systems cant be chiped. and the performance modules for the most part dont work. Your best bet would be to get your pcm reflashed. radio24 03-29-2004, 02:43 PM where would i go to get my pcm reflashed? and how much $ would it take. bigdaveangell 03-29-2004, 06:58 PM the only place that I know of is a dealer. If you know someone that works at a GM dealer maybe they would do it for you. You might also look around on the web. Maybe someone else on the forum would know some other places to get it done. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
