i have a 92 sentra se with a 1.6 litter engine
i wanted to swap the engines im only 18 but my dads a machinest and know what hes doing he changed my transmission out my 86 sentra and my clutch out this 92sentra se

what should i go for the sr20de or det is the det even possible with my 92se when i say possible i know anythings possible i mean reasonbly possible

i wouldnt wanna spend more than 3 grand on the sr20det and 1 grand on the sr20de

does both sound reasonable

let me know tha scoop and your opinions

also i was looking on ebay where this guys selling sr20det he claims they have less than 50k miles for 2000 is this a good place to buy from or do yall know good dealers i could go through

I`ve seen people buy those and say they were really happy with the DET. If you have the money for the DET and sure your dad can swap everyhting over to your se then buy a front clip from a pulsar off ebay and have ur dad do it. Well..thats what i would do. Then if you think about ppl will think you got a regular ga16 then you can whip out the det and spank up civics and integras haha

yeah, go with SR20DET of a GTi-R. for about 2500 you can get one.

i was thinking if i put tha det in my se would the intercooler fit under the hood also
on the gtir the hood has a vent type of thing on the hood for the intercooler what would i do my sentra has a reg hood a pulser hood wouldnt fit huh
