Hello,

My Neighbor has a 97 Grand Cherokee with a blown headlight. She bought a replacement, but does not know how to instal it. Can someone tell me what's needed so I can replace it for her? I don't want to break anything.

Thank you,

Hi!

Ok, if you are just replacing the headlamp, here is what to do:

1) Under the hood, locate the locking ring supporting the headlamp bulb assembly
2) Rotate the locking ring 1/8 of a turn counter clockwise and pull the bulb straight out

Try not to touch the bulb glass with your fingers, it will shorten it's life span

3) Install new bulb into the lamp housing and put back into locking ring, turn 1/8 of a turn clockwise.

Now, if you are replacing the lense, let me know... more to follow.

Thank you! She has the whole lense Assembly. I took a quick look at it and there are 3 round connection areas that look like the adjusters would snap into.
