my babied 96 camry for salesurge21 03-23-2004, 03:06 PM sup yall? i've decided to let go of my baby... its been real good to me but I want a sportier car that I can have some more fun with. Heres the basics...1996 Toyota Camry DX. 138,000 miles and runs very strong. These engines can get way past the 200,000 mark. Tranny shifts good and mechanically the car is pretty sound. I just had the Head Gasket replaced as well as put new brakes in the car. Its got a high flow air filter as well as an exhaust tip that makes the car sound REAL mean haha. My friends eclipse and another friends bimmer were both put to shame as they had free flow mufflers and my car still sounded meaner, lol. The tires are also in pretty good shape as well. The bad: -the paint on the trunk is fading -the fuel cap door is primered and needs to be painted -theres a small chip in the windshield -the drivers door handle is a little broken, most of the handle is gone but u can open it without a problem because about half of it is still there -the headliner is sagging -the car needs a new o2 sensor and the engine temp thermometer isnt working. i could get the o2 sensor and the engine temp thermo fixed beforehand if someone is interested tho... All in all its a great car that needs a new home. No major problems other than those listed. Its a great car, but i just need that extra "oomf" when i step on the gas and I can't get that with this car. Also, this car is a great nominee for the 3sgte swap, which from what I gather, is roughly $5,000, can make this car HELLA quick. That's what I was planning to do but I dont have the time or money for it. Price is open to offers, but I'd really like a 3kgt/Stealth. Fav cars of all tyme haha. FYI, the car is located in Dallas. Just let me know if interested. Thanks for looking and god bless. -Surge Heres some pics: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/461007 vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
