Does anybody know what my 1999 Rodeo is supposed to idle at when I'm in Park or Neutral?

I think mine idles at around 800-900RPM. It will kick up to 1000-1200RPM if the A/C or defrost is on & will kick up if you turn the wheels due to the idle-up pressure switch on the power steering pump. If you are idling high w/ out the A/C on, it's probably the switch on you power steering pump, they clog with debris. Unplug it to see if it idles down.
