HI everyone,
a few friends of mine just got their licenses and they're considering getting non-turbo skylines. Maybe r32's or r33's. How much is insurance for a young driver (17years old) with a non-turbo r32 or r33 ? And how much is it for a turbo? thanks for the help in advance.

having "mods" has no effect on insurance rates, unless you want a specific ammount of extra coverage added onto your plan.

when are people going to learn that insurance rates are specific to the person. you can get somewhat of a general idea, but insurance for everyone is different. 17...no matter what, youll have high insurance since you are a high risk driver with little to no experience. this is esp. true if you have alot of tickets.

you will find that in Australia and New Zealand the insurance companies like to increase premiums specific to the car and modifications as well as the person, so insurance rates can very ALOT.

Just be aware that if you have insurance and then modify the car the insurance company may use that as a way out in the event of a claim. (the bastards)

ive heard of this happening in the states. alot of subaru owners need to modify the bumper beam or have a modified bumper beam installed to mount an FMIC. insurance has used this to get out of a claim in the event of a full frontal. although its understandable why they do it.
