Found these the other day, wondering if anyone has any experience with them.

Yeah, know a few with 'em. They're not the best-looking things, but they're certainly effective and reasonably priced.

I love my Shrockworks.com sliders myself, best looking ones out there!

Can you use the shockworks slider as a step to get to the roof? I race downhill mountainbikes and have to hoist my 55 lb bike onto the roof. It's impossible to do by myself without something to step on.

Whose sliders are the best looking is something you get to decide. Just as some like the look of Titan/Armada, and others don't.

I have 4crawler's sliderz along with a bunch more people here. Roger Brown is a local here... I think that shrockworks sliders are just as good looking and functional, but I do like the square tubing of 4crawler since that is more stable to step on...especially when wet.

And, since I don't have shrockworks, I can't comment on thiers, but 4crawler's sliderz have survivied last 2 wheeling seasons in the Sierras on my Xterra. ...Actually, 4Crawler sliderz survived Rubicon trail on an Xterra and on a Pathfinder last October, too. :smokin:

So, at the end, you get to decide what you like. I'm sure both of them are very good sliders...

If you want something to stand on, the 4Crawler "extra wide" ones are the way to go I'd say. The Shrock ones are suitable to climb on, but best done with your feet turned to the side.
