windshield wipers and park lightspwcherra 03-22-2004, 03:58 AM can some one help with this problem. My wipers will always work if i wash the windshield but not always if I just turn them on. Also if I hold the brake for a long period of time such as sitting at a red light my park lights come on. I thought it was the multifuction switch but it was not. If you have had such a problem please shoot me an e-mail thanks. Will squashman 04-03-2004, 07:37 AM can some one help with this problem. Flip off end cap, unscrew inner plug and spray in some oil. Be carefull as there is a spring inside. I read about it at another forum and it cleared out all my wiper problems.Go to this site (http://home.earthlink.net/~vqfaq/) and look up under subtopics-(Intermitant washer switch). Good luck A.L. pwcherra 04-03-2004, 10:26 AM this maybe a stupid question but is the intermitant wiper switch on the wiper motor. I replaced the multifunction switch already so I am thinking it must be something to do with the motor. Thanks Will It is at the end of the turn signal and high beam - low beam arm. pwcherra 04-03-2004, 11:23 AM I replaced the whole switch but it made no differance. eltigre 04-11-2004, 11:22 PM You'll need to check your Windshield wiper govenor..located by the driver side strut tower eltigre 04-11-2004, 11:36 PM as to that brake and parking lamp thing, I have no clue besides maybe checking the brake switch underneath the dash and making sure you are not having abnormal contact somewhere....good luck IH8SPM 05-12-2004, 08:01 PM Check your brake fluid vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
