Coolant Loss/Cracked Head

I have a 1999 5.3L Silverado and I keep having to add about 1/2 gallon of coolant per week to the truck. I drive about 15 miles a day total. There are no visible leaks and the intake manifold gasket has just been replaced. The oil on the dipstick is not creamy and does not appear to have any coolant in it. The only other solution I can find is it is going out the exhaust through a cracked head. How would they test that theory? And if the head /heads are cracked how much money might I be looking at. The truck only has 75,000 miles on it.

Thanks

I have a 99 Z71 w/5.3L and I just had a similar experience not long ago. My coolant was getting low very often, and after a few oil changes, I noticed some moisture in the oil. My problem turned out to be a cracked head gasket. I cost me about $550 to get replaced. This was not at a dealership, they wanted much more.
