I have a 99 grand cherokee. It won`t come off of defrosters. Turning the knob to the other positions does not change the flow of the air. Thanks.

I have the same issue with my 99 GC. Did you ever find a fix?

I am having the same problem with my wife's GC. She said it had happened before, the dealer fixed and said a wire or cable had come loose. I took the entire blower/heat/ac control unit apart and was not able to locate the problem. I think it has something to do with the vacuum lines that the selector uses. If anyone knows how to diagnose/correct I would greatly appreciate the help!

I have a 95 GC Laredo, and I noticed that my selector knob did not do the job. At that time it wouldnt direct air anywhere.Replaced the knob console ( from the Salvage yard ) It would turn off the window defrost setting, and allow foot air. But no normal dash air. So now I have the ardous task of hunting down vaccum lines :banghead: ?? As you can tell, I need some assistance here too. :eek7:
