Here's a few pics of my black '99 P11. The car has every option except auto tranny and has 40K miles. I bought it off a friend of mine and got a great deal. The car is completely stock except for the 17" RH Evolution M7000 wheels and Toyo tires.

Lowering and window tint are on the list for this Spring/Summer. First i have a small dent above the drivers side rear wheel that needs fixed. I can't lower the car until i get that done. Because it rains so much here in the winter, i have to wait on the windows too. If i got them tinted now the adhesive would never dry. So, come spring my next few mods will be:

1) Tint windows
2) Fix dent (possibly repaint entire car with custom color)
3) Lower ~1.5" (Ground Controls and KYB AGX's)

I'm also hoping to get a Hotshot header and CAI, but we'll have to see how the finances look through the next few months.

Hey, The tint film goes in the INSIDE of your windows. They are never touched by water. You can even go get your windows tinted on a rainy day! So don't worry about that, you will not have a problem.

I know that the tint goes on the inside. My past cars have all had tinted windows. But when it's this rainy the air is very moist and cool. Most window tint shops recommend that you tint your windows when it's at least 60* and dry. Right now, the weather in Seattle is neither warm nor dry so i'm going to wait. It's better to put it off a little while and get it done right the first time than to rush into it and have to do it all over again in 3 months. If we get a few days where the sun will be out and the temp warms up, i'll do it then. Otherwise, i'm going to wait until spring.

I'm more concerned with getting my dent fixed and getting a new paint job. Unfortunately, that's going to be pretty expensive so it will be a while before i can get it done.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments on my new wheels. It took me a while to decide what i wanted but i'm very pleased with what i've got now. I can't wait until the weather gets better so that i can spend all weekend washing, waxing, and racing.

The TEIN NA Suspsension system will look great with your rims. You can get it from Luke! Look at the big grin on his face :sun:

I considered the Tein system for a while but i think i'm pretty set on getting the Ground Control/AGX setup. I want to use this car for Solo II duty. The only person on this board that i've seen rave about his suspension AND who does roadrace/autocross is George. I respect and value his opinion and if he says Ground Control is the way to go, that's what i'm going to get. Now i just have to figure out how i'm going to pay for it. :(

I cant say about the P10s cuz i dont own one but if you are into roadracing or autoxing (such as myself if you didnt know), i would consider the JIC coilovers for the car. It solves a lot of the understeer issues that the car has and with the aluminum pillowball mounts on all 4 corner, it reduces alot of the car's squatting and diving action when braking/accelerating hard. it's has stiff springs and hard shocks...not somehting i would highly recommend for the streets unless you enjoy a stiff ride like myself.
