I have a 1995 Grand Jeep Cherokee Limited that the antenna had quit going up and down on (it was stuck in the up position, you could hear the motor running when you turned the car on/off and the radio still worked). Now the motor sound quit and so did my radio. I cannot get any sound from the radio or the cassette player. Are the speakers tied to the antenna somehow? Help please, I'm not sure where to start on this.

I would start by checking all the relevant fuses.

I checked the fuses shown in the handbook that came with the car, there was one inside the car fuse box (I think it was #10) and there was one under the hood. They were both OK. Even swapped them out anyway to be sure, didn't help.
