It's not a 03 Cobra, First it's a centrifugal S/C look under the hood. Yes some people are using S/C on 03 Cobra's but not with a the old N/A Cobra intake which you can also see. Thirdly that rod is not from an 03 the rods look totally different I'll try to find a pic to post of 03 Cobra rod(Forged Manley H-rods). And the easiest way to tell.... the guy in the video when holding the piece of rod says a 1999 Cobra rod.

Umm that's a 99 Cobra Redneck. They have that vid posted on LS1.com BTW the guy he is running is Fadis Z. Fadis is known as an incredible driver (1.7 sec. 60' on DR's, 12.1 sec. 1/4 mile in 2001 Z06). That Cobra was said to be pumping out 600 hp. I don't care what any mustang enthusiast said, the aluminum block doesn't cope as well with boost as the new Cobras iron block.

It's ok man, honest mistake.

The pre-03 Cobras with I-rods and alminium block are not the best choice for a ton of boost but hold up fine with 9-11psi liquid cooled. That would be the limits.

Too bad he blew the car up cause he was walking away from that Z06.

Doesn't look like it to me. The Z06 was just outclassed and overpowered. With the Cobra having nearly a 200hp advantage, what else should happen?

you guys know what's funny, this video is all over the internet right now. some of the guys at motownmuscle.com (the detroit-area forum i post on) know the dude who owns that car. the thread is in the section 'the pub' if anybody's curious. oh yeah, check out the thread called 'help a girl out', it's worth a few laughs. i post under the same name there.
