lowering the front endhitchcock54 03-16-2004, 08:37 PM I've fot a 2000 cavalier and I don't like the way it stands. I was wondering if anybody knew how to lower the front 2 or 3 inches. xxchamp34xx 03-16-2004, 10:52 PM how about some lowering springs? studballs 03-17-2004, 08:01 AM you wanna lower just the front? :uhoh: Why? Cavaliers already sit higher in the back with stock springs. hitchcock54 03-17-2004, 08:53 AM currently it looks level from end to end. i want to lower the front just a little bit to make it look faster. right now i feel it looks like a regular sedan on the road that doesnt give a dam. you know what i mean? curbie 03-17-2004, 11:36 AM Studballs is right. I had a 2000 Cavy and the rear stands higher than the front with stock springs. You can visit eibach.com or go to a eibach dealer that sells the lowering springs and lower your cavy that way. You could find lowering kits at Advanced Auto or Autozone, but those stupid things are VERY DANGEROUS. All they are is just a set of long bolts with plates to squeeze the springs down. Those bolts could break out and let go of the spring and you'd be in for some serious crap! :nono: Curbie Ps> I only speak of this, b/c I once had Eibach springs in my cavy. I also had a 2000 cavy. studballs 03-17-2004, 12:17 PM please just lower the car all the way around...it will look a hundred times better trust me. lowering the front of your cavy wont make it look faster, it will get you laughed at. The handling would also be affected greatly due to the front being low and the ass end being way up in the air. curbie 03-17-2004, 01:30 PM Studballs is right again! The handling would all go down the crapper. Just lower the car all the way around and the handling will be just fine. Besides...why would you want to make your Cavy LOOK faster? It's an economy car! They're made to save gas, not out run a sportscar! :evillol: STYLEZ24 03-17-2004, 05:17 PM Dont lower the front.... Very unstable and looks retarded... xxchamp34xx 03-17-2004, 08:56 PM yea, my 98 cavalier seems like the front is a tiny bit lower than the back already. nothing the springs wont take care of vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
