I am attending an insurance auction and want to bid on a car with a "flood" salvage title. Car does not start.
Has anyone ever purchased a flood vehicle or looked into it..
and is there anything to be concerned about except
mechanical fixes?

Watch where the high water mark was. If the dash was under water you will probably have countless electrical problems you will be trying to fix. And if they tried to start it with it "flooded" :), the engine may be damaged.
