Hi Everyone,

Up here in Canada we are not fortunite enought to have Autozoones where we can get our codes read for free. In fact it costs a minimum of $50 to $90 Cdn to get them read.

Has anyone ever heard of or used the following code reader?
http://www.iequus.com/item.asp?cid=10&pid=3100
I have the opportunity to purchase one for about $200 CDN ($130 ?? US).

Just wondered how well it worked

I'm sure that one is great, but in my opinion for the occasional DIY'er, all you need is this reader: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=46030
Several owners over at the isuzu board use & like them.

I use that code reader and I am very satisfied with it. It shows the Ford engine codes. But it it won't show codes related with other systems (the BCM--security system for example, ABS).

I can erase the codes and there is also a status of all the monitor systems of the vehicle (it shows if the monitors have been used).

Canadian Tire has it one sale every so often (really good price). I bought mine from a performance parts supplier in the US.
