grinding noisedougis621 03-12-2004, 05:18 PM I own a 99 2500 suburban. When I am going slow and turning to the left I hear a grinding noise coming from my left wheel area. I do not notice it when I turn to the right. I am pretty sure my tires are not rubbing anywhere since I run 245's. Could this possibly be my suspension? amac209 03-12-2004, 08:22 PM check the cv axle boots the outer might be torn or have a hole thats leaking out grease. pdalton 03-20-2004, 12:02 PM I own a 99 2500 suburban. Also check the brakes -- you may have a worn pad on a sticking caliper holding the pad just far enough away from the rotor that it doesn't really engage, but does in a turn. - Paul vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
