1st off- its nothing to fix....the transmission (automatic) is run with hydraulic fluid...its thick when cold, once warmed up it runs much smoother. by revving up high, its forcing the tranny to work harder than it should

2nd off, that can actually damage the tranny...so just let the car warm up...let it run for 10 minutes or drive about 2 miles.

My 2000 does the same thing and I turned out to be diagnosed as a Tranny sensor!!! Go to a "Midas" and get a free estimate. I was also told it could have actually been the transmission itself. Either way go to a transmission specialist to sret your fears aside.
