im set on swaping a D16zc into my 92 hatch i would like to know if anyone knows how much Hp this motor has and if it would be a good motor to build up considering cost? Thanks any info is greatly appreciated

i think the single cam has 130. I don't know much about the aftermarket support but if you could put d16z6 stuff then it would have a good amount. but in that case y don't you get a d16z6? i'm pretty sure it would put out more power mod for mod and not be illegal

The blacktop DOHC has 130hp, and about 130ft lb of torque. My friend has one, and it's a torquey little thing. They have low compression and tall gears which is great for a turbo upgrade.
