1995.5 Rodeo Temp Guagesrvfin 03-09-2004, 09:13 PM My temp guage stopped working and I can't seem to find the "Water Temperature Sending Unit" on the engine. Haynes book says it's behind the head (3.2 V6) but I do not see it. Any Help? KC 95.5 Rodeo 03-10-2004, 03:48 AM It's there, believe me. Look behind the passenger's side cylinder head, you'll need a mirror to see it. I thought that I had a photo of the location, but I can't seem to find it right now. There are 2 senders in the coolant pipe; one is for the engine coolant temperature gauge, the other is for the ECM (computer). I'm not sure which one is for the gauge. A good temperature gauge sender should measure 160 ohms at 140F. Dale Here we go- I finally found a picture of the back of the engine: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2461256038 95.5 Rodeo 03-10-2004, 02:21 PM I looked it up this morning. According to the wiring diagram, the temperature gauge sender has a Yellow / Black wire running to it. srvfin 03-10-2004, 06:05 PM My god! How do you possibly get in there to change or check this thing out? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
