I too have a 2002 tacoma. Ijust put a performance accessories 3'' body lift on. I have mickey thompson classic 2 wheels 16x8 with 4 7/16ths backspacing. Iam waiting for the tires to come i ordered bfgoodrich allterrrain. in 285/75/16. From all the searching i did these should fit no problem. When i get the tires monted on saturday i will tell you how they fit. Scott  What rims do you have the stock rims.

Actually, I'd like to get a sampling of what you guys have paid for a 4" lift. I got a quote of $ 400.00 from "Eastern Off-Road", and I wanted to make sure I'm not paying too much.

I paid 221.69 for a 3'' body lift from summit racing. I installed it with my friend and it took about six hours. There is some welding required to extend the shifters. And to weld bed crush blocks, and weld brackets for the gap guards. Gap guards were separte 59.95. :)

Well the tires are mounted on the rims and the rims hit the front caliper that rim dosent fit the 02 tacoma. Igrounf the caliper and still couldnt get it on. :banghead: .Then i put a hole in caliper wow that sucks  .I think i should have went with the smaller backspacing. But those tires fit in the wheel whells nice.

Well found out all i needed was a 1/4 spacer behind the wheel, and to install longer rear wheel studs up front because of the spacer and everything is good. no rubing, nice.
