passenger side window only opens three inches

I have automatic windows, and the passenger side one only opens a few inches. Do I need to take the door panel off to address this problem? How do I get the door panel off?

I drive the 3.2L V6, but it's not the LS. Do you have to go into the door via the side, or does it open up from the interior or the exterior of the car?

From the inside. There are 5 or so little covers that pry off easily with a flat head screwdriver along the bottom of the panel. Unscrew the screws. Remove the tray in the armrest. The rest of the door panel is pulled off. I think there are a couple of screws near the speaker. I may be missing some other screws that are easy to find...Good luck!
