b18C5 swap into a 95-00 civic exsyk_pal_jgomez 03-09-2004, 10:18 AM What are the components that i needs to do the swap into a civic. i just came across a b18c5 for a good price but i needs to no everthing that i am going to need to do or have to do the swap. do any of you know if there is like a website that tells you how to do the swap or maybe a video that shows you how to do a swap. thank you. steve8091 03-09-2004, 10:55 AM You are going to have to clarify whether it is a 5th gen (92-95) or 6th gen (96-00) before anyone can help you. Ricochet 03-09-2004, 11:04 AM It's easy. Use your brain and figure it out yourself. All you need is an engine lift which you can buy for like ~$100. After that, just unbolt the old engine and bolt in the new. Pull out the old ECU, and wire in the new. You will need a 2 1/2" exhaust/catalytic converter though, because your pea-pipe won't fit over the new header and will sound like shit. The only thing a civic engine swap needs is common sense from the installer. If you don't have that, don't attempt it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
