I am trying to install a new radio into a '03 Malibu, but the harness that i was sold does not work. I do not get any power. So, i asked the "tech" what was wrong, and he said that i needed to run a wire from the ignition to the harness, and called it a "turn on" wire. Anyone installed one and know what they are talking about? And could you tell me where i can find a "proper" harness?

i cant remember where the proper harness is but it will cost about $75 it would be better to go ahead and run ur own wire to the fuse box thats what that mean far as the ignition place the wire with a fuse that shuts off when the key is taken out of the ingnition u dont want it in one that has constant power
