i'm thinking about getting an impreza. Apearance is'nt everything to me, especialy when it comes to interiors, but after looking at some pictures of mid 90's imprezas i noticed that they are all beige. thats just wrong. is they're any site that you guys know of that i can get a do it yourself kit to change the stuff like the ceiling and flooring. the rest of the interior components can be painted. if they're is no such kit, how much would you estimate it would cost to get the interior re-done profesionaly (on a four door sedan)?

I had a '98 with a black/grey interior.
There are factory seat cover sets available for other colors and the carpets etc should be easy to switch.

This is the main thing that would deter me from getting a new WRX: the interior is junk, it's all plasticky, flimsy cupholders, etc. I don't really care how nice it looks, as long as it's functional. Is the WRX's interior just crappy-looking, or is it poorly designed as well?

i have a 02 wrx and like the interior of it. it's not a luxury sedan, but it's got a decent sound system, bucket racing seats , a racing stearing wheel, a 6-cd in dash cd/tape player, etc. it's nicer than my 00 Mustang GT's interior was.

I don't get where everyone says the interior is so bad. It's no Mercedes, but what do you expect from a $23,000 car? The interior is every bit is nice as any other compact car I've been in. Everything fits together well, feels solid, way nicer then the Honda I owned before. Every other car in its class has a 95% plastic interior too.
