ur not an idiot, We've been asked worse.:
1)One Front Upper Tower Strut Bar - engine bay
2)One Rear Upper Tower Strut Bar - trunk
3)One Front Lower Tie Bar - underneath car (front)
4)One Rear Lower Tie Bar - underneath car (back)
Number 4 can be seen by the people behind you, just so you know, they look good if you keep it clean.
Any one correct me if any of this is wrong.
BTW, this is a very good deal, buy it. they are easy to put on!

Just a piece of advice. If I were you, I'd spring for the rear strut bar and rear tie bar, but not the fronts just yet. Stiffening up the back of your car will rid the car of a lot of understeer and make it handle tons better than stiffening up the front.

Once you really get into the suspension mods you should go for the front strut tower bar and front tie bar. They stiffen the chassis, but tend to increase understeer and that is something FWD cars have too much of already.

Well GS, this gut probably wants to include the top front strut bar for the look. I think he should by that kit, and be happy.
No, I know every page in that haynes book by heart, it does not show how to install these bars, althout throuought the "suspension" section, I may show mounting bolts to bolt these to. I will try to find specific instruction for you, cause i am curious myself for mounting the lower tie bars.

I'll try to take some pics of the install locations tomorrow with my digi-cam, and doodle some arrows to show the bolts that you gotta tinker with to install em if you'd like.

BTW, look for the set that's made by megan racing. I have a friend with a 94 sedan, and he just bought them off ebay, and he's very pleased. They also look better than that set too IMO.

Damn, couldn't take pics today cause my camera's battery was dead, and I had to ruffle through everything that I had stashed since the fire to find the charger. I'll have pics up tomorrow.

Actually I was involved in the big @$$ California Wildfires in October/November of last year. I live 3 blocks away from where it first entered residential. Appreciate it, but a lot of other people actually lost at least something, I was very fortunate.

The top arrow shows where that little carpet holding clip is, and the lower arrow shows the hump that is the top of the strut tower (same on other side)...

These are the two control arm bolts for the rear lower bar...

This is the top of the strut tower, as well as the bolts that will need to be removed in order to add the bar (same on other side)...

These are both tops to the front strut towers...

This is the left (passenger) side tower, and its two mounting bolts that will need to be removed for installation...

This is the right (driver) side tower, and its respetive mounting bolts.

I apologize for no front lower pic, but 2 things stopped me. 1) my car is TOO low. And 2) it's been decommisioned for 3 months now, and has to be pushed everywhere for the time being. Anyhow, hope these will help.

is there a way to remove the little clip dealies without tearing them apart?
because when i put in my altezzas, i had to bust apart the little carpet clip, and now i dont have clips there, before i up and buy the struts, is there a way to remove the clips without breaking the carpet clip?

P.S. Do something with that Engine Bay!!
lol i was just going to say that, a little simple green does wonders for an engine bay.

Thanks for the kudos all. And for the engine bay being filthy, I explained that my car has been grounded now for 3 months... :nono:

But soon (guy still hasn't heard from his engine connection) there will be a nice, almost new, and cleaner B16 nuzzling in there. I'l clean the engine bay out hardcore when it's empty.

Also, just an FYI, my future pic projects will include install of Sun Automobiles Hyper Ground, and Hyper Voltage systems. Pics will also include difference in light brightness (since that's what they claim) and potentially a dyno (over stock numbers) to see if they're worth the dough.

Oh yeah, pushed my car to the driveway today, and put in 3 of the 4 new Tokico Illumina 5-way adjustables. I can actually squeeze a jack under my car now!!! Just a matter of time before it moves again too... I hope.

Anyhow, Civic_D16Y5 I hope those pics help, and best wishes to you on your install.

eh, don't see you gaining too much off a grounding system and whatever that hyper voltage thing is. But it'll be a hell of a lot easier on your electrical system. Everyone should upgrade the Big 3. Replace your battery ground, valve cover to chassis ground and positive on your alt to battery with 4 gauge wire and you'll see a huge difference.

IF its just for looks thats the best deal I have ever seen on ebay. I'm not sure what kind of clips are the ones that hold the carpet near the strut tower. But if you are looking for the round clip plug replacements that hold the carpet in neat the trunk opening, you can go to autozone or craigan and they have a section for those types of interior clips. I don't remember what model # but they were used in ford escorts. They work very well.
