I am looking for some custom wheels for my 2004. I am confused on how big I can go. The Tire Rack says 265/50-20 is the largest that will fit. My local dealer says I could fit 305/40-22. I caclulate the 305/40-22 is about 1" larger in diameter than the stock tire and 1.6" wider.

There does not seem to be a lot of option in terms of wheels. Is the new 5 bolt hubs non-standard?

I want as big of a tire as I can get but I do not want any tire rubbing (on road use only). Its a lot of money to fork out to find that they rub over bumps.

Has anyone else gone through this and can share some insight?

Thanks
Shawn
