Anyone out there that can help? matt Hi, I have just bought(BC, Canada) a used 1986(E30) 325i european version that was brought in from Germany two years ago. I am trying to find similar info. to your request. The only info that i have been able to gather is that the european 2.5 liter engine has more horsepower than the north american. The north american has i believe 169HP. I was told that the europen has 180HP but can't confirm this at this time. If you find anything please let me know. Thanks Casa7 Mort325i 03-14-2004, 06:26 PM The big difference that i know of is that the euro spec has the doglegg tranny in it. I just put one in my car big difference! As for engine hp i would assume that the euro has more because it dosen't need to meet carb regulations. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
