Been looking for a oil leak on the truck..93 1500 4x4..thought it was the oil pan gasket..got home today..smoke rolling out of the hood...Check and found oil blowing out of the dip stick....The top of the stick is broken at the plastic piece and no o ring...that seem right that there is that much oil coming up the tube???

Does the exhaust smoke? Sounds like you might be getting some blow by at the piston rings. Oil spewing out of the tube is NOT normal.

check the pcv system too it's suposed to get rid of all that pressure.

Thanks guys...nope not burning any oil...changed the pcv valve....and changed the dipstick with a new seal...stopped the oil leak....Seems to be a lot of sludge in the engine from what I can see...any body used that sluge out stuff and how does it work??
