My 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited has been acting very strange.

My first question: Will flushing the transmission make it shift more smoothly? Will it increase acceleration?

Will replacing my relay help? My back wiper doesn't work, my windshield wipers only work on the 2 highest speeds, and the heater won't blow. Is this expensive?

Thanks!

Don't get a transmission flush, it will force all the stuff in the filter back into the transmission. Get a fluid change only, where they drop the pan and change the filter, then refill it with fresh fluid. It should make it shift a bit smoother, especially if it hasn't been done in a while. As for the wipers, I'm not too sure, the wiper motor must be fine if it works at 2 of the settings.

The relay for the intermittent wipers is about forty bucks and is down by your left foot behind the kick panel when you are sitting in the drivers seat. I think its worth replacing. As for the tranny, my tranny started with the same problems and is now having a hard time shifting properly. I was told it was an eletrical sensor malfunction. If I shift mine manually, it works fine.
