When i bought my 93 GC, the compass/MPG display in the overhead console never showed anything. After 2 yrs of ownership,there is suddenly an orange glow of parrallel lines on the display,when the vehicle is started.The lines are simillar to those in the background of the stereo & climate control display, except brighter, as if more than usual power is being supplied to the display.No green words or numbers just orange parrallel lines(Straight across one above the other).Weird Stuff. Any ideas on what could be causing this. Going on for 3 mths now.The 2 buttons to change the compass functions both light up ever since ownership, but depressing them according to the manual causes nothing.

Any wiring diagrams?
