brake and battery dash lights are onhealthmj 03-02-2004, 09:15 PM I have a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo and can anyone tell me why my brake and battery dash lights came on? Most common cause is a bad alternator (only use OEM replacement), old tired battery, battery terminal, connection/ cable, or grounding issue. He replaced the alternator. My alternator gauge is showing approximately 13 volts versus 10 volts.
