please help i am newbie

hi everyone...

is it possible to put a 280zxt engine into an earli 280z body? if i do so... do i need to swap the transmission over too? and how about the electrical system, fuel lines, ecu, and stuff...

a lot has been written on this subject.. the l28ET engine from the 280ZX turbo will go into a 280Z body.. youll need to get the ECU from the ZXT and wire harnsess as well. as far as the transmission goes.. you really dont have to swap it but you will havwe to swap the fly wheel and clutch to work with the 280Z tranny.. youll might also want to upgrade yoru fuel pump to pump out more fuel for the ZXT engine.. other then that you should be fgine.. jsut get a boost gauge and new exhaust and you should be ready to go..
