This first time I try body mods, so mods are not big.

Nice! Not enough mk III lovers out there :) I got the same kit for Christmas, I'm building as factory stock. My only complaints with the kit is the chassis and lack of an engine.

What color are you going to paint it? I'm trying to figure out which Duplicolor paint is closest to the dark grey mk III's...

Hi!

Did some other models and now doing this again. Nothing much done, rear bumber is in shape just need to do some fixing. Also lowered rear a little.
Next I will put primer on it again, and then sand more. Maybe after that I start thinking body color. Any suggestions about color?

I wanted to say that, but it might be a bit much of a challenge.

Progress going slowly,nothing much done.

Decided to do targa top and cutted roof. sanded more and painted two coats blue color. Not good yet, need sanding on some spots and then more coats.

I don't think it is a good idea to sand metallic paint. The particles will become uneven.

Here some new pics, body painted and clear coats added. I'm very happy with the result, pictures doesn't give justice to color and paintwork.

Rearlights, grille and etc. need to add yet. Rearlights need fitting, they are not fitting good. Interior is almost ready, some little things to do, cleaning paint lines and dust. Those in trunk should be subs, do they look like that?

Here some new pics. I'm not very happy with windows, rear window has dust and etc. and when I glued frontwindshield, glue spreaded.

I will try to do something to rearwindow, but I haven't very much motivation right now. I also lost rearlights, I don't now what to do. Maybe I try to scratch build new ones.

What do you think with wing or wingless?

its gotta have a wing but not that one go with the stock turbo wing that came with it it will look really nice after u sand it down and smooth it out a bit

yeah, the original wing would be best but its gone, I think I leave it wingless until I get better wing, that wing is from Lancer.
