clutchfethers 02-26-2004, 04:49 AM i got my 1990 n/a m/t 300zx a few months ago and have had problems with it since like my clutch has gone my cv joint is busted i was just wondering if any one else had these problems. it only has 109 000 ks on it. rizzspeed 02-29-2004, 11:16 AM I've been lucky in that most of my repairs have been minor. I've had to replace the clutch, but it wasn't that difficult. It's always easier when you have the proper tools and help. Your repairs aren't that high in degree of difficulty. It's just getting around to doing it. Just don't get a Centerforce clutch. You'll be better off getting a Jwt, Act, or RPS. I would recommend the RPS. If you can afford to, when changing the clutch, it would be the perfect time to replace the flywheel with either an aluminum one or the RPS segmented one (highly recommended for TT). Lightened driveshaft would also be convenient to swap out as well at that point, since you have to drop it to get the tranny out. http://www.specialtyz.com/rps.htm http://www.z1motorsports.com/Products/PerformanceIndex/powerplant-performance-driveline.asp vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
