2000 Rodeo LE 4x4, we are the second owner so we get a 5 year 60k extended warranty (runs out on 2005). Truck has the fuel level sending unit problem, they advised it would be $570 parts and labor. When I mentioned the pump being covered under the powertrain warranty they said that only applied to the 1991-96 models and mine wasn't covered. Can anyone confirm or deny before I call Isuzu?

The fuel pump parts & labor will be covered for you under your (subsequent owner) 5yr/60Kmi powertrain warranty. Same coverage items as the 10yr/120Kmi link here: http://www.isuzu.com/owners_warranty_2000to2002.jsp#
That dealership is trying to steal from you. Be sure to bring that to their attention.
G/luck

That's what I figured, it's even stated under the warranty coverage for 2000-2002 on Isuzu's website. I have a call in to Isuzu Owner Relations, we'll see what they can do.

Well the guy from Isuzu called and confirmed that I am covered, he called the dealer and straightened them out. Apparently the service advisor was a bit on the clueless side and, despite the fact that I stated more than once that it should be covered, he didn't bother to check with his manager. I'm going after the $37.48 diagnostic fee as well.
