Service Engine Soon -lightT_ac_S 02-25-2004, 05:27 AM Hi forum Got a 97 6.5TD Tahoe, and my Service Engine Soon-light has turned on. Is there at tool/software I can use for diagnostics, which is windows compatible/based? (and dosen't cost the same as my car) I had a GMC Syclone before, and I had a DOS-program for running diagnostics on that car.. So.. if any of you out there know about such a tool, please give me a hint.. Need to know whats wrong with my baby ;D My email: T_ac_S@hotmail.com Stymie 03-09-2004, 04:22 PM T ac S, my SES light comes on now and then, usually when I try and pull one particular long hill around here. Each time a simple can of 'dry gas' ie. isopropyl has cured the problem. Regards, Stymie Thanks for your answer :) Took my car to the repair shop, they hooked it to a computer and the reason why my SES-light went on, was air in fuel. Not a big problem, but could indicate a near failure of the pump (Not main pump, but the "little one") batdude 03-10-2004, 04:21 PM REPLACE THE GAS CAP FIRST (yes that's in all caps for a reason) doug vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
