98 Strarus Tie Rod Endturtle1 02-24-2004, 09:33 PM My son broke the driver's side tie rod end on his 98 Stratus. I bought the part and proceeded to remove the broken tie rod end. The broken ball joint section came right out. The part that threads into the rod is frozen tight. I have tried anti-seize lubricant, heat and even pipe wrenches and it won't move. Is there a trick to removal? How can the entire assembly be removed? Anyone have any suggestions? Anaudiophile 02-25-2004, 01:24 AM Lots of heat on the locknut..........ie cherry red if need be.
