2nd gen clock fix?kevinorhoades 02-24-2004, 09:47 AM Can the clock on the 2nd gen (early 86 to 87.5) be fixed, or does the whole warning assembly have to be replaced? ShortyDTP 02-24-2004, 01:46 PM What's wrong with it? MDKacic 03-24-2004, 01:01 AM The most likely fix for your clock is to re-solder the pins, that connect to the harness. If you look at the pins where they meet the circuit board you will most likely see a tiny line that goes all around the solder on the pin. Re-solder those pins and you should have a clock that acually works. flex339 03-24-2004, 05:18 AM mine always cuts out and resets randomly Soyo 03-24-2004, 11:50 AM mine got reset when my cd player got put in, and now I can't change the minutes, only the hours, so my clock is 35 min. slow :( Steel 03-24-2004, 10:21 PM mine got reset when my cd player got put in, and now I can't change the minutes, only the hours, so my clock is 35 min. slow :( hmm... why dont you wait till you're on the hour, disconnect the battery, reconnect, then set it to the proper hour? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
