steering rack removalnissanjon 02-21-2004, 09:26 PM Hello We have a 94 grand voyager and a new steering rack...we have EVERYTHING out and ready to be replaced...except for 1 piece holding the old rack in. It's the pinch bolt that holds the steering column to the shaft of the rack. It looks like we need a punch pin and a hammer to get it out but we are not sure. Can anyone confirm or deny this, and/or give any tips? Thanks! Anaudiophile 02-25-2004, 01:43 AM A small punch is all you need. Just tap the roll pin through. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
