JDM TT Exhaust on NA 2+2?1viadrft 02-20-2004, 02:30 PM Hey guys... I found a great deal on a TT JDM Fairlady spec Cat-back Exhaust system. The question I have is... will this fit on my 1990 N/A 2+2? The guy that is selling it doesn't know. One of my concerns is the difference in wheelbase on the TT and NA... it's a really good deal but he may sell it for more $$$ to another party in a few days if I do not make up my mind! Is this system ideal for my NA car? Will it bolt on directly or will I need customization? Thanks, GuyZ! Z_animal 02-20-2004, 07:58 PM it will not fit because it's a 2x2 rizzspeed 02-29-2004, 11:52 AM you'll need a bit of customization. The main problem you'll face is that the 2+2 is about 8.5 inches longer than the coupe. another problem you might face is hanger location. other than that it should fit. LOL If you can get a muffler shop to fabricate the extensions and possibly reweld the hangers into their proper spots you should be ok. DJLAWSON 07-10-2005, 11:21 PM I just bought a 1985 300zx $500. runs pretty good, only one problem, I have to take out the a/t fuse to get it to run over 2200 rpm or over 40mph, I put on a new tps and ran dio test on the afm it looked good to. any suggestions why it will run with the a/t fuse out but not in? DeleriousZ 07-10-2005, 11:36 PM dude, i know you're new and all, but this thread is almost a year and a half old... start a new thread asking your question please. ExTrEmEDrIfT 07-11-2005, 12:54 AM i dont see why threads stay open after this long they should be locked .. so many people open dead threads from way back  flip888 08-02-2005, 07:08 PM Wait I thought 2+2 ment twin turbo?? what is 2+2? rizzspeed 08-02-2005, 08:17 PM 2+2 is the four seater. Broke_as_**** 08-02-2005, 08:35 PM Wait I thought 2+2 ment twin turbo?? what is 2+2? And with those extra two seats (it's actually more like a rear storage shelf) comes an extra 6 inches in the middle of the car. A cat-back designed for a 2 seater is going to be too short. But hell, if you can get a really good deal on it you could have an exhaust shop make up a bit of pipe to extend it for cheap. rizzspeed 08-02-2005, 08:50 PM 8.5 inches actually, but who's keeping track? :p ZedEx 08-02-2005, 08:50 PM Start a new thread... This one's been dead for a long time. -Wes vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
