Gs-R motor swap in a 95 hatch Vxb18c1civic95 01-02-2002, 02:18 AM :( ok i read so many things on motor moutns and which one to use and every single one believe it or not it different but heres the problem..ok....me and my friend both have civic vx's....his is a 92 or 3 and mine is a 1995. i am putting a 1998 Gs-R motor in mine and i am having trouble with the mounts. mine are different then my friends vx which i dont understand cuz theyre both vx's except i got VTeC-E :) it seems like this wont fit in my car, could it be because i have a vx?? if i had his driver side mount then i could actually use the integra mount with the 3 bolts instead of the civic one that i am tryin with only one bolt in the actual block....but the rear mount and lower mount are my main concerns because i can only get it half way over the hole of the rear mount.....should i go to a junk yard and get a real civic mount :)??? could u possibly tell me what i should ask for ?? any response is greatly appreciated...i hope this makes sense.... pvang31019 01-02-2002, 04:00 AM driver's side=gsr tranny side=gsr rear=civic rear bracket=gsr front tranny=gsr front driver=gsr and use your harness and get a skunk2 intake manifold to get rid of the secondarys b18c1civic95 01-03-2002, 01:22 AM right on man thanx..... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
