Oops almost for got. If you want a better representation add some yellowish tone to the areas of the (esp. the rim) rim and wheel well edge (body color part) that face the flame. Imageine the flame color radiating from its source and those areas may want a hint of flame color.

I have been studying exhaust (backfires?) flames for my R-34 painting I want to start (after I finish my current projs), but after seeing your work I may try and paint that if that is ok w/ you?

Yeah go ahead and draw it I'd love to see what it looks like and I will take those tips and try to incorporate it.

I use Prisma Color Markers and cheapo pastels for anything that has fades. The blk/flame cobra has not been edited in PS/Ill.

I mess w/ PS at times to to see what can be done to the work.

But your work looks like it was hand created, that is really cool.
