49 merc with Chop TopJuan Robles 02-16-2004, 08:28 PM This is my new proyect for the next model show in october. The theme for the show will be Hot Rods. So far I choped the top the equivalent of three inches. I will french the headligths and integrate the front end rear roll pans to the body. Maybe i will leave the car in gray or black primer with some scallops. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/28270000_1128.JPG tonioseven 02-16-2004, 08:33 PM Looks like a great project!! I'm going to model mine like Jesse james's 54 chevy. going to paint it flat black/grey and slam the ass. I think that with the chop on the top it would look good in a colord primer like a tan or maroon. keep us posted.... here is a link to mine, i will post some new progress in about an hour . http://modelcars.proboards28.com/index.cgi?board=inprogress&action=display&num=1076830507 GTmike400 02-16-2004, 08:52 PM Nice, very nice.
