alright....before i got my new WRX i had only driven a AWD VR-4 a handfull of times so i was just wondering what the best RPM is to launch at in the WRX? and what are some tips to getting off the line? the WRX (obviously) is 10X different, but more fun, than my mustang was. so gimme some pointers. thanks.

i always hold the revs around 45-5000 then right before you go floor it and slowly let out the clutch until you start to move. Once you feel that you are going let the clutch out fast. Not a dump. by that time you will be at about 5500 RPM and the tires will chirp relieving strain off of the drivetrain. I have found this to be the best way and has benefited greatly.

it's kinda like double chirping, but for some reason no tires i've owned have chirped, they've skeech'd...

I've always used ZR Tires, never had it chirp or skreech unless i was in the waterbox at the track in which case then i can get all 4 tires to smoke like crazy. its sweet and scares the other imports at those free test and tune nights lol.
