I don't like the green that much, but the interior and the trunk setup is awesome. This is a sweet car.

I like it, exept for those ugly body colored rims.

I don't care what they say bassik that's the best gti I've ever seen. Anyone who doesn't like that car has to be an idiot. That's so phatty. The rims are the exact match to the body that's tight. It's so hard to match color. That's so phatty.

i think the car is possibly the nicest one ive seen in a LONG time. that color i love and i think the rims look sweet cause they match the car. the trunk setup is awesome too. damn in want that car

Whoa! That looks pretty damn good. I would've had those rims in gunmetal though. But it's still amazing!

hey does anyone personally know the owner of that car cause I swear I saw a GTI like that just a couple days ago. It also had that kinda unusual green color, just not the same colored rims

The car belongs to me. Since those pics the car has gone through a few changes. I put different wheels, finished the interior, added a Raid steeringwheel, and added a few new this to the engine compartment. Oh yeah I also took out the Nuespeed Sport springs and replaced them with the Race. So the car sits about a half inch lower now.

how come you put different rims on it? I though the body colored ones were more tight (but just an opinion)

Cosmic VR6

I wanted to go with something that had a bigger lip to give it more of a Euro look.

Ok, but how fast and how much power are you getting out of your GTI.
I am curious, cuz I am debating weather to get the 1.8T or the VR6. Just want to see how the mods improved your ride.

Peace

I like the sound of the VR6, but the 1.8t is more mod friendly. If they would have had the 1.8t out when I got my car that is what I would have went with instead.

Nice, hell yeah...

Sweetest? nah...

That thing is probably only pushing 200hp...which is still a hellova lot stronger than my 2L GTI is pushing :)

2003 VR6 GTIs get 200hp stock by the way.

Nice car, you even pull of having a bright green Maglite in the trunk, without it looking tacky. If the car had beige leather seats, it would be perfect.

Nice car, but almost any other color on the rims would be nicer.

Yeah. The green is pretty ambitious but that takes courage to put everything that custom color.

that paint comes straight from the factory!!! VW likes to put out a few cars with colors that are limited. My GTI is that way too, only red. But she shades they use are not as common as the other VW colors.

ONEflyGTI
07-12-2003, 12:48 AM
that GTi is money...but yeah, the green rims are alittle sketchy, i think i woulda gone with some high glossed black with a polished lip or something, but other than that, dag, thats a nice frigg'n car. If only i had mad cash to dump into my ride.

ONEflyGTI
07-12-2003, 12:50 AM
yeah VW makes some SICK paint colors, anyone seen the Jazz Blue that VW has painted on a limited number of rides? Definitly one of the phatest stock paint colors ever!

Yo deakins has a point. There some real stupid people on vw vortex. But some are helpful too. I give you an example of a dumbsh*t.

"Get the 16v arches, the g60 arches are the same as the ones on the 16v. The 8v ones are thinner"

The worst thing is, he was giving advice to someone who wanted an archkit for a mk2 90 spec big bumper model. lol
