Strange noise-What is it?

Just bought my S-10 awhile back and it has a very strange noise. When you start it and sit there with it in park there is a noise that sounds like it's coming from the dashboard and where the windshield meet. It sounds like "radio static" but the noise will increase with the throttle. Has anyone else had this noise? Thanks!

No it doesn't. When you increase the throttle the noise will increase. The truck is still under warranty but I sure would like to figure this out. The old VW beetles use to have a similar noise and it was the speedometer cable. I would assume that the S-10 does not have the old cable design but I have to admit that is exactly what it sounds like.

My truck makes a funny noise like that and it's the blower motor.Open your hood and check,it's on the passenger side firewall.
