hey fellers can an srt-4 motor swap fit in a 96 sohc neon.those things are quick thank you for ur replies

NOPE you can't, Motor mounts are different not to mention the mass of wiring.

You would be better off putting in a N/A stratus 2.4L and turboing that. Besides you can make it faster for cheaper

ok 2 things. one the place has 2.4 motor mounts and wiring harnesses. can i still do the swap?And where can i find a stratus turbo charger??

hahaha this place is too funny. I'd love to see a SRT-4 motor in a first gen Neon. Someone is making up storys

it can be done, buts gotta be a pain in the ass, i mean i helped a buddy of mine but the na 2.4 in his neon, and nuthin went right, nuthin seemed to fit.............. but the srt-4 motor can fit in a first gen neon, not worth it tho unless u got the motor for mad cheap, cuz i had that i dea and went ot the dealer and asked how much the motor would be, and it was 8 grand disassembled
8grand-230hp, 250 lbs of tq=not worth 8 grand

yo thanks for the price and stuff. i aint gonna do that swap ima just get a racing engine from Howell its another 2.0 but its cool and its kinda cheap.its like $2000 somethn but wut u think of that?

To be honest, I'm not real thrilled about any of the shops specializing in Neons. Howell is about as good as any of them, though.

Faint praise, I know...
