What the Heck is going on with the damm ticket blitz in the City, New York City that is. It cost me about $300.00 last month. That tops above my total for my 20 some years of driving in this town. Bloomy :banhim:says that there isn't one.:nutkick: :chair:And this is just a plain out and out lie.:killbarne I have never seen them ticket so much. Every delivery truck I see has one or five on them. I never used to see them ticketing UPS or FedEx before but now they are. And if you are in vilation of the Schoff Law watch out.:bricks1: I was working up on Broadway in the 70ds last month and I saw them towing for it at least 7 times in one week on the block that I was working on. Keeping those meters fed is a must at $.25 per 10 minutes with very few 2 hr meters left in the City. I for one will not vote for him again.:flipa: Putting the bruden on the working the man or woman, it is hard enough to make it in this town.:swear:

why dont you have the registration. and whats stoping you from going to the dmv to get it. but you can try a locksmith.

You know I do have a really hard time thinking of sometime that I enjoy more in the spring than driving over the "BROOKLIN BRIGE" (my favorite brige), in my 92' Yankee blue Saab 900S converible with the top down on a Sunday morning. On my way to hit the flee markets up on 6th Ave. After that I 'll drive up Broadway to Zabars pick up two large coffees and acouple of danish. Than find a place to park over by John Lennons old place and than walk into the park and drink my coffee and eat my danish with my best girl and watch the ducks on The Lake swim by. Than later say about 12:30 getting on the subway and taking it up The House That "RUTH" Built and watching the Bronx Bombers kick some Red Sox butt for three hours. :smokin: Ride On, digimon

I am in Nassau as well. I live in the Albertson/Searingtown area which severly stinks. I either cruise GN or Huntington(usually with yota cause the truck is a ship on wheels and I am too lazy to unhook the trailer it may be hooked to).

I happen to run a pretty large car club based in NYC. You guys are more than welcome to come hang out if you have nothing to do when one of our weekly meets hit.

We hang out pretty much every friday night in either NY, NJ or LI.

Here are some shots from last night (01-07-05 NYC):

Yep 240s and civics. They get along as long as they are all done well.
http://www.importfanatix.com/assets/images/db_images/db_01-07-05_021.jpg

We pack the lot out with trucks and cars. Angel with the chevy truck (510 in the summer), new guy Greg and his 240, MR2 and Ray with his Pathfinder sans his rims.

240s and RX7s

http://www.importfanatix.com/assets/images/db_images/db_01-07-05_171.jpg

Some new guys drove up with some really nice VIP cars.

http://www.importfanatix.com/assets/images/db_images/db_01-07-05_291.jpg

We get our own private room with TV. It rocks.
http://www.importfanatix.com/assets/images/db_images/db_01-07-05_411.jpg

Also we don't go home when it starts to rain or snow. We have had meets when the temp has been -7.
http://www.importfanatix.com/assets/images/db_images/db_01-07-05_431.jpg

Everything is welcome at all levels of build. Just be a cool cat and you will fit in fine.

I’ve been on these forums for years now, this the first time I’ve been here. Born and raised in a city other-wise-known-crooklyn. For 10 years I drove a 85’ Z-28. 4 years ago I got a 2000 civic EX (mostly stock) to go back and forth to school with. I go to school down south in VA now but still work during the summers in NY. Once I graduate I’ll move back home. Life’s different down here but what can I say? You could take the kid out of the neighborhood but you can’t take the neighborhood out of the kid.
